Paper Doll

Hey there!! How're you guys doing?

Say konnichiwa to Momoko!
(Momo = peach; Ko = girl)

She's a washi ningyou that I made quite a while ago my Japanese class.
Yes, I tend to name things even if it's a cute inanimated object or artwork

Instead of using the real paper customized for these traditional dolls we used a wrapping paper since we were beginners ourselves, which you can tell from the funny blue patterned obi which contains a picture of wheels.

The making didn't take quite long, around an hour especially if you're capable in hand's speed. All we did were just cutting the wrapping papers into many small squares, with various sizes, and the rest were just another cutting stuff and folding things, and last but not least was painting the doll's face.

Voila, and Momoko's ready to be on display!
