Hi! My name is Carissa Atrianty. I'm a writer by night, a graphic designer by day from Indonesia.

I graduated from Art Center College of Design with a degree in Graphic Design, which means spending all-nighters on campus was just another day. You can view my works on my portfolio. After dividing my time between Los Angeles and San Francisco (and a little bit of Orlando), although now I'm happy to say that I'm settled back in my hometown, Jakarta.

When I don't write, I work on exciting design projects, make good latte, and you can find me lining up for rides at Disneyland.

What does The Big Escapades mean?

Escapade:

"an exciting, foolish, or dangerous experience or adventure"

That is how I often describe my life in a whole. Every turn I take is an adventure for me. Sometimes I encounter the most unexpected things at the most unexpected moment. Everyday is an adventure for me, and it doesn't have to be literal. It can be an adventure of thoughts, ideas, or maybe the literal one will come along. What lies ahead is a mystery - hence, an escapade might await. A big one or even more.
