Trip to Taiwan - Part 12

Nineteenth day: July 9th, 2010 (Taichung - Taipei)
This story might be a bit shorter since my itinerary sort of stopped at the previous day. Guess when it comes to the end of the program, I became even lazier to jot down what we did. Anyway I choose to use the itinerary given by the committee to write this story, but still it lacks of explanation.
Don't worry, took a lot of pictures today!!

Today we were going back to Taipei, and this time, we were leaving Taichung for the last time, so no going back anymore. Kinda sad though.
Everybody woke up late today, but some of us who didn't had prepared something for them.

Anyway, the first destination of the day would be...Glass museum. It was a nice museum though. I like the exterior better than the interior, since it got a wall decoration which resembled Small World ride, complete with the giant clock and also a Cinderella's carriage. From the outside, it didn't even look like a museum, but another Small World ride instead.

The museum itself was quite...well ordinary. There were no translations while the curator explained about the glass, its history, etc.
At the end of the museum exploration, we had fun munching on these ice creams while taking a rest. Even in the morning, we had walked like crazy.

We did kind of a crazy experiment at our fu dao yuans, Xi Bao and Xiao Xin. As you might have known, we kind of gossip about them being suitable for each other. Aww...so when we take this group picture below, we kind of zoomed at both of them, excluding us.
This is the original group picture

And this is how it turns out after being zoomed.
GOTCHA!
They look sweet together, don't they?

Haha, and took a candid picture of other fu dao yuans

The Makassar girls

Next up, we were heading towards another museum, where the fu dao yuans said we would be having our closing ceremony (holy cow, it feels like yesterday we were just having our opening ceremony!!). Turned out it was the Aboriginal museum, where we could see Aboriginal traditional outfit on display.
There was a spot where they put on like a mini broadcasting studio resembling Aboriginal TV channel. Take a look at this. Looks fun eh?

Aside of museum visit, outside the museum, we could also play some familiar outdoor games like hula hoop and jumping rope.

Before we were done having fun, we were told to get to the hall quickly since the closing ceremony was about to begin. The Surabaya group performed their musical dance at the end of the event. It was nicely done.
Even Justin and Janet, representatives of our group, were chosen to deliver the closing speech as you can see here.

Anyway this is another group (apart from Surabaya and Bandung) who also got chosen and performed a modern dance with 2NE1's song. Forget the title.

It was 5 pm in the late afternoon and we were heading back to Taipei.
We all fell asleep midway, but as the bus exited the freeway, we were all woken up and welcomed by Taiwan landmark, which is Taipei 101 we had visited before.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, we happened to tell some pranks and jokes that made everyone constantly laughing.

Nice day huh? ^___^
