Stage Play
Heyyy...it's been a while!!! I miss blogging but life's been hectic (oh really?) especially these past few months. Well, I think that's what all 12 graders and 9 graders experienced, and we couldn't escape from those non-stop try outs and exams for months unless we all wanted to graduate.
Fact is...
WE ALL HAVE TO GRADUATE 100%
Anyway, national exams have just passed, much not to my relief because this month - April - the results will come out. I'm not thinking to be the best or getting a rank right now. I'm just thinking to graduate first. Good scores are a choice and we can hope to get them later once we know we pass or not. But for now, I know our hearts are pounding anxiously waiting for April 20 (if I'm not mistaken).
Oookay, yesterday I was doing a stage play along with fellows of XII Bahasa called "Hallo Nama Saya Haeena" (Hello, My Name is Haeena) for Literature Practical Test. It was actually my second time doing a stage play after having done the previous one which took a place a year ago. But I love this play better than last year's, due to last year's play was adapted from the 1950's screenplay. You can imagine all the formal dialogues and old catchphrases.
I played two different roles who obviously have similar traits, so I didn't need to change the costume. Turned out the teacher loved the play and said that I had the best costume (yipee!) It was a mini play anyway and only three people watched it. My literature teacher and Bahasa teacher (to give the score), and the anthropology teacher to record the play in handycam.
This is the post-performance picture of me and Anna. I wish the All Cast photo was uploaded, but for now, this is the only picture I can show you:

The Worst Driver Ever
Just thinking to write this after seeing a status posted by a friend of mine, mentioning something about her driving. Well, I come to think about my experience in driving.
I've got my driving license already on December, despite my lack of experience in driving. Due to that statement, my friends assumed that I got it illegally (in Indonesia, there's a term called "SIM nembak", or a driving license achieved illegally by getting the license instead immediately without going through any tests). Yet I'm still not allowed to drive by myself even if in a distance as close as PIM to my house. My sense of awareness and distance are still lacking, obviously...
About the test, yes, I did go through a test. Not many. Just one, and that's a theory one that talks about "What would you do if a car passes next to yours..." that kind of thing. But I didn't go through any driving tests, because (this is gonna you how smart I am *cheekily*). I signed up for the whole test through a driving school that I used to learn driving. Perhaps the test's staff believes that the students won't make any mistakes in driving since they've already passed their driving lesson. So they gave us a go. I was quite surprised myself after discovering that there would be no driving tests, since driving tests are somehow the most feared test in the whole. People feared they wouldn't pass it for not being able to drive the car climbing up a small slope.
Anyway, I'm the worst driver yet. One time I drove by myself. Like I mentioned before, I lacked of ability to control the distance of the car and the nearest object of it. So I drove and suddenly heard a 'thud' on the rearview mirror.
Guess what...
I just hit someone with the rearview mirror.
If you were me, possibly you would get off the car and apologize to the person, or the person would scream at you, curse at you, yelling "fuck you", and...maybe demanded you to get off the car if you resisted. Or maybe if I did that outside the country, I'd get a middle finger instead.
But instead, I did something that you'd say. "You shouldn't have done that. That's not appropriate.". What I did was opening up the car window, looked at the person who I just hit behind me, with the tires still rolling, and said.
"SORRY."
You say, a simple sorry wouldn't be enough, right?
At least I did apologize (ok, I'm being an asshole right now)
